A powerful 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Mindanao in the Philippines on June 8, 2026, leaving communities devastated, families displaced, and critical infrastructure severely damaged.
Among the hardest-hit areas are communities across Mindanao, including parts of General Santos City, Sarangani Province, Davao Occidental, South Cotabato, Davao del Sur, Davao Oriental, and nearby municipalities where homes have collapsed, roads are impassable, and access to clean water, food, and medical care is limited.
Narra Foundation Inc, in partnership with our local partner on the ground OND (Oblates of Notre Dame) Hesed Foundation, is responding with immediate and sustained support for affected families and communities. In this spirit of bayanihan, the Filipino tradition of coming together in shared compassion and collective action, we are launching a fundraising campaign with a goal of $10,000 to provide both urgent relief and long-term recovery assistance.
Your generosity will help deliver emergency relief, shelter, rebuilding assistance, and livelihood recovery to families impacted by the Mindanao earthquake.
In moments like this, timely support saves lives—but sustained generosity rebuilds communities. Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly support those who have lost so much and are working to begin again.
We invite you to stand in solidarity with the people of Mindanao. Please consider donating to Narra Foundation Inc and sharing this campaign within your networks.
Together, we can help restore safety and hope to communities in need.
